SAUNA-LOVING MUURAME
One December Day in Muurame
SAUNA ELF'S ADVENTURE
One chilly December day, I found myself in the town of Muurame. I heard they were celebrating their 100th anniversary — what a great reason to visit! The festive spirit was high, but as a hungry sauna elf, I couldn't help but follow the delicious aroma of food. The scent led me straight to a cozy little restaurant. There, I was served a generous plate of creamy mashed potatoes—along with all sorts of tasty treats. I cleaned my plate completely! Now I had the energy to continue my journey.
But what happened next is something I will remember forever, even when I'm a very, very old sauna elf!

SPECIAL HARVIA SAUNA SESSION
As I continued south, my sauna senses tingled… and soon, I arrived at the headquarters of Harvia, one of Finland's most famous sauna stove makers! It was an exciting place, and as an official visitor, I even got a special badge. I couldn't help but explore every hallway—what an adventure! Along the way, I met some friendly sauna-loving gentlemen, and together, we enjoyed a very special sauna session.
SNOWY SAUNA SURPRISE
But that wasn't the only surprise waiting for me in Muurame! The children at Niittyaho Kindergarten had built a whole snow spa just for me! ❄️⛄ There was a warm pool, a cold pool, and even Power Stones to boost my sauna elf energy. Their snowy sauna moment is something I will never, ever forget!
PERFECT MEETING SPOT: HAIKUSAUNA
To finish my Muurame adventure, I visited Kivitasku's Haikusauna, where the town's leaders were enjoying a traditional Finnish Christmas sauna together. And guess what? I got to join them on the sauna benches! It was a warm and joyful moment, filled with laughter, steam, and the true spirit of Finnish sauna culture.
My trip to Muurame was unforgettable. Every person I met truly loved the sauna, and that made my little sauna elf heart so happy! Places like this, with people like these, are exactly where I want to be. And one thing is certain—I will be back!
